just a quick one here before i continue with my last min cramming of massive loads of bacteria, virology and immunology notes into my brain...
just like to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes...my fella singaporean and aussie meddies, hostel mates, mum, dad, bros, even pple from singapore whom i've not really kept in contact with(oops!!) and the nice chocolates and the nice origami paper wishes...
Ah! And not forgetting my wonderful anatomy tutors who gave us such a smooth sailing practical paper that seemingly was a perfect replica of the previous year's paper lest some changes here and there. My heartfelt thanks to the one and only GABRIEL MOUNHIR!!!ah i've been speculating that in actual fact, he must have been too busy catching up with WORLD CUP to bother...and MARIO too...muahahah(evil laughter...)see! tats the advantage u get when u have male tutors with WORLD CUP...they simply click u see....
anyway, enuff of this crapping. back to MMI...last paper last paper!

hmm...the feeling's so surreal but yes...its only 1 more day before the 3 continuous days of exams hit. and not forgetting, turning another year older in 14 hrs time...its interesting that in these 5 days of break in between the papers, not only have i lost track of my my days but i've also managed to catch up on more revision. good and bad. so much has happened in the last sem. and this sem seems especially fast to me. first, it was the reality of arriving in adelaide that dawned upon me, next was the hectic schedule of pbl, resource, clinicals and electives. time really flies by in a flash if u don't keep check of it. trust me. it SURE DOES... anyway, soon came the mid sem break and ta da, exams were here. woah woah. need a breather man....not only this sem, but growing one year older, juz reflecting on the events within the period of 21-22 yrs of existence on earth...its a nice feeling. to juz take a break, sit down, stone and look up at the ceiling (since we're at the "ceiling", there're several guys upstairs fixing up some poster on the roof i think....and they're making a hell lot of noise... arghhh!!!), but ya u get the picture. i've come a long way, juz reminiscing my days in ri, rj, army, 39SCE...i've made many good frens, some of whom r gonna be the next big thing in the army, government and other organisations. but there are also those whom i've gone through shit training together. and come out alive. coming to adelaide was one of the biggest decisions and i guess another of the crossroads in life, but yeah i'm glad i took that step out and i've not regretted eversince. i've made wonderful frens and formed new relationships here whom i 'm gonna hang out with for the next 5 years. and yes...woo hoo!! guys, we're one quarter through the journey.
ahh...growing older...it s just another phase of life isn't it.....

Sometimes, its not always the case of Goliath winning matches with ease as the world has witnessed in the first few opening matches of the World Cup.
Little Davids with their enthusiasm and attitudes of playing their best with no worries can serve to stump Goliaths in their footsteps even. Well done! Costa Rica, Trinidad & Tobago, Ivory Coast.
Just a few quick comments though... The Germans were haughty against the costa ricans...The Swedes simply weren't seizing their chances and Ivory Coast put up a valiant resistance.
You never know what you'll get from these kinds of underdogs. Would you...
